Memorial Service

“But we do not want you to be uninformed, brothers, about those who are asleep, that you may not grieve as others do who have no hope.” These are Paul’s words from his epistle that remind us, in the difficult moment of sorrow and parting with our loved ones, of Christ’s work of victory over death and eternal life with Him.

What should be done and in what order if such a thing happens in the family.

Contact the funeral home
In consultation with the Priest and funeral home director, determine the time for the memorial service and funeral
Required:

Wheat (kolivo)
Oil and red wine mixed in one bottle
Large candle
Candles for the people
